Parata mixes upcoming release Woe Saturnalia with John Congleton
Parata entered the studio to finish tracking vocals and mixing for their new release Woe Saturnalia. This is the follow up to the album Heads, Heads, Heads! produced by John Congleton featuring tracks such as High Dollar Whore, Leather Seating in a Lincoln Hearse, and Harvest Ball Nightmare. The album featured the session work of fellow Grapevine musicians Joey Kendall (of the Polyphonic Spree-esque marching band Mount Righteous) on drums, Sean Kirkpatrick on piano, and Daniel Folmer on other assorted instrumentation. The new album however features a different sound. They frequent the Denton, Texas circuit playing at the NX35 festival and being regulars at venues such as J&J’s Pizza and Hailey’s. This album features musicians; Timothy Jarrod Smith, Jameson Barron Hurst, Adam Thompson, Laurel Johnston, and additional support from Sean Kern.
