Jessie Frye
Jessie Frye tracks new EP with John Congleton and Michael Garcia at The Track
Jessie Frye wandered into The Track studio off the streets of Ft. Worth looking to be a city star. She reassembled her band and had amibitions of recording an album to fulfill. Work on Frye’s EP began with John Congleton at The Track but has since been taken off by the likes of Michael Garcia (from Waking Alice) on engineering duties. The band started out consisting of Simon Stipp on guitar and Chris Bell (Frye’s ex-boyfriend) on bass but now shares the bassist of Mathew and the Arrogant Sea and Roy Robertson (Frye’s new boyfriend) on guitar.

Frye is also relocating to Denton, Texas with boyfriend Roy Robertson to be a part of the thriving one of a kind Denton music scene. Sadly no material has been released as of yet with the exception of a piano/vocal arrangement in which features the cello performance of none other than Christopher Youmans. Garcia and Frye’s last session consisted of technical difficulties after Congleton released the master tapes of the prized yet to be released album in the making. Frye is up for many Dallas Observer awards and makes frequent performances at SXSW and NX35.
