Chiaroscuro record new EP at The Track Studio

Chiaroscuro is an upcoming post rock act following in the footsteps of their mentors This Will Destroy You. They are from Shelbyville, Indiana where they own a tattoo shop. The bassist Joshua Carlton reminisced of old times in the shop when he tattooed Mike Ness of Social Distortion’s hand and turned down Vince Neil of Motley Crue’s request for ink. The drummer and cello player are a husband and wife duo, the drummer Sean having only played for a matter of months. The band literally just under went a name change. They were formerly called Skyline Transmission before becoming Chiaroscuro. The completion of the EP into a full length album is in the works after a mini-tour with This Will Destroy You.
